Aldo Radrizzani's observatory

The observatory was located in Druogo, a small town of Val Vigezzo, province of Verbania, near Lake Maggiore, Italian Alps. Aldo modified the home roof to include a 2.5 m dome, supported with two external colums for the walls, and with a single independent column for the telescope. Inside the dome the Schmidt Camera was supported with a heavy fork mount.
Now the telescope and mount were located in the personal observatory of Lorenzo Comolli.
